Manufacturing AI Transformation Lead
12 years building and owning production systems in automotive electronics — now leading the integration of AI into the factory floor. I don't consult from the outside; I've lived the processes, owned the platforms, and understand exactly where intelligent automation creates real value.
Most AI transformation fails because it's driven by people who've never stood on a production floor at 3 AM when a line stops. My approach is different: deep domain credibility combined with hands-on applied AI capability.
12 years owning production systems across multiple VW Group brands and factories. I know the data, the processes, the people, and the failure modes — before any AI is applied.
I don't just strategize — I build. From GenAI-powered decision engines to supply chain intelligence tools, I prototype, validate, and deploy in real production contexts.
Bridging the gap between technical AI teams and operational manufacturing stakeholders. I speak both languages fluently — and I know how to make transformation stick.
Applied AI built for real manufacturing environments — not toy datasets. Each project solves a problem I identified from the inside, targeting the highest-friction points in automotive production.
Evaluates production forecast feasibility from the supply chain perspective. Identifies at-risk supply scenarios before they become line stoppages — turning reactive firefighting into proactive planning. Exactly the kind of transformation AI makes possible when someone knows what the data actually means.
Decides whether planned supply of a car part can be enhanced to meet order demand. Automates a decision process that currently requires manual cross-referencing of multiple data sources — freeing planners to focus on exceptions, not data entry.
Deployed, owned and pushed forward the complete commissioning system for automotive E/E production — a multi-client/server architecture connecting shopfloor devices, operator interfaces, product data management, inter-system integrations, and statistical analysis. This platform underpinned production across facilities in Mexico, Spain, Germany, and China.
I'm a Mechatronics Engineer who spent 12 years at the heart of automotive electronics manufacturing — designing, building, and owning the production systems that put vehicles on the road. That foundation gives me something most AI transformation leaders lack: genuine operational credibility with the people on the floor and the stakeholders in the room.
My core delivery was a vehicle commissioning platform spanning multiple clients, servers, shopfloor devices, and inter-system integrations across facilities in Mexico, Spain, Germany, and China. That work made me fluent across the full industrial stack: from embedded systems and automotive protocols (CAN, DoIP) through networks, RFID, IoT, and into software and data.
Now I lead at the intersection of manufacturing expertise and AI — identifying high-value transformation opportunities, building the AI systems to address them, and driving adoption across complex OEM organizations. I understand both the technology and the change management. I'm based in Barcelona and open to Director-level manufacturing transformation roles, remote EU or local with international scope.
Building something at the intersection of manufacturing and AI? I'd like to hear about it.
